Disconnecting to Energies

Disconnecting is so very important as you become more and
more receptive and open to other people's psychic garbage.
When giving readings to others, you do not want to take on
*their* psychic garbage. You will be exposed to many varieties
of energies and it will help to disconnect from their energies
after every reading or whenever you feel the need to do so. It's
also helpful to take a shower at night to cleanse away all energies that you were exposed to during the days events or readings. In the beginning, as you become more open, this becomes more critical...your sensitivity is increased.

The thing is, we are all energy beings and we ARE all connected. However, we do not need to take on other people's negativity unless we desire it or allow it. We do not have to allow it. Eventually, it may become more common to be automatically at a higher vibration where others lower negativite frequencies just won't affect us long term. However, it is still prudent to clear and clean our energies. Showering is huge for not only cleaning our bodies physically, but also our energy bodies and Aura is cleansed and recharged! Enabling us to expand and take in more knowledge and awareness.

I have included three more strong ways of disconnecting:

1. In Reiki, we disconnect by putting your right hand on your left shoulder and wiping down diagonally to the right hip, then the left hand goes on the right shoulder and then wipe down to the left hip, and then once more on the left shoulder. After this do this whole thing starting with the left hand on the right should wiping down to the left, the hand on the left shoulder and wiping toward the right, then the left hand on the right shoulder again and wiping down to the left. After you wipe down your body you do the same alternating and wipe down the arms. While you do this, focus your intent on disconnecting from others.
   
2. Also another visualization is to focus on closing your Chakras down to about the size of a half dollar before bed. Especially if the first disconnecting isn't working completely for you. Just see them (colors and all) big at first, then slowly dimming and shrinking to the size of a half dollor within your body.
   
3. Call on ArchAngel Michael to come forth and sever all negative cords and attachments from you and to you now. ArchAngel Michael's loving job is to protect you and show the way. He is there in an instant once call on him. See ArchAngel Michael using his powerful sword to cut away all negative cords and attachment. Feel the white light of protection build in intensity as the only thing that remains is love. The love you feel for youself, for your family and friends and the love you feel from connecting with the divine ArchAngel Michael.

Please practice these or many other visualizations (such as picturing a phone hanging up) as often as you can. The more practice you put into it, the more energy goes into the effort and the stronger this works. You can ask your Angels for assistance in clearing and cleansing your bodies daily. And, as always, prior to reading others surround yourself with White Light and say a nice invocation. The invocation I like to use is:

"I invoke the Light of the Spirit here within,
I am a Clear and Perfect Channel,
I am Love, I am Light."
